Space Solar is a Supporting Partner at ELUK2024
Space Solar is working toward a transformational impact on the energy landscape by pioneering space-based solar power (SBSP). Our vision provides a solution that addresses the intermittency issues of traditional renewables and ensures energy security, regardless of weather conditions or time of day.
That’s why we are a Supporting Partner at Energise Landscape UK 2024.
From September 10-11, 2024, at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge, this event brings together key stakeholders in the UK’s energy sector, including government, industry leaders, and energy innovators. Attendees are dedicated to providing energy security for the UK and the world, sparking discussion and highlighting changes that need to be made in policy and practice to create a better future. As part of our mission, we’re committed to being one of the drivers in shifting energy production toward scalable, reliable, and affordable renewables.
At the event, our Co-CEO, Martin Soltau, will participate in the panel “Pioneering Global Collaboration for Net Zero Transformation”, alongside representatives from NewCleo, First Light Fusion Ltd, PA Consulting, and the UK Atomic Energy Authority.
Throughout, Martin will delve into the crucial role of international cooperation in advancing clean energy technologies and outline how Space Solar’s world-leading approach to space-based solar power can contribute to achieving global net zero goals.
ELUK2024 is a critical platform for forging partnerships.
To combat modern energy challenges, collaboration is key, and through ELUK2024, we’re able to engage in high-level discussions on the future of the UK’s energy production. The event will explore topics from nuclear and renewables to hydrogen and energy policy, setting the stage for strategic planning and cooperation.
The impact of developing innovative technology like space-based solar power is vital to consider in the broader energy strategy. Providing that flexible, baseload energy is key to a Net Zero future and energy security and is hugely complementary to other renewable technologies. By continuing to innovate, the UK can better ensure a more stable future, continuing to better address the challenges and opportunities in the sector.
This conference represents an opportunity for us to share our vision, showcase our technology, and engage with leaders as committed as we are to transforming the energy landscape.
Let’s power a sustainable future together.
